Vale of Dancing Waters
The Time of Troubles & Era of Upheaval
Inspired By Ed Greenwood

Hidden in a remote, snow-laden cleft of the western Sumber Hills, the Vale of Dancing Waters reveals itself only to those who know the secret paths. Carved into the sheer face of the mountain, the structures defy easy access, presenting a series of tiered white-stone walls and dark, multi-layered roofs designed to shrug off the perpetual alpine snows. This secluded complex, known in Dwarvish as Tyn'rrin Wurlur, is a place of profound solitude and sacred reverence. The air is still, the silence broken only by the soft descent of snowflakes and the distant, melodic chimes of the valley’s natural, blessed springs.

Within this hallowed sanctuary lies the Shrine of the Tender Oath, a place of pilgrimage dedicated to Sharindlar, the dwarven goddess of love and healing. The vale is famous for its abundant natural pools and crystal-clear fountains, the "dancing waters" that lend the location its name. These waters are rumored among dwarven travelers to possess potent healing properties, capable of mending both physical wounds and spiritual ailments. The atmosphere is one of serene contemplation, a rare pocket of peace in the otherwise brutal wilderness of the Dessarin Valley, jealously guarded by the few dwarven wardens who protect its existence from the outside world.
